Sarla Memorial Maternity Home was established under the aegis of the Sarla Memorial Charitable Trust in loving memory of Late Smt. Sarla Gupta, who passed away in 1994.
The Sarla Memorial Charitable Trust is a family-run charitable organization founded by the family of Smt. Sarla Gupta under the chairmanship of Sh. Ganesh Datt Gupta, her husband. The Trust is dedicated to serving humanity, with a special focus on the border region of R.S. Pura, Jammu. Sarla Memorial Maternity Home is a humble yet significant step toward fulfilling this noble mission.
The maternity home provides comprehensive gynecological and obstetric care, with all procedures performed by experienced medical professionals at highly affordable rates. In addition, free medicines are provided to deserving patients who are unable to afford the cost of their treatment, ensuring that quality healthcare remains accessible to those in need.

Sarla Memorial Maternity Home has been registered with the State Registering Authority for Nursing Homes and Clinical Establishments since 2012 under Registration No. J/NHCE/2012-13/519.
